Oops. Aparently I'm wayyyy off the mark with my blogging goal. Oh well! Today I have been busy on etsy listing lots of stickers that I seem to have accumulated. They keep popping out of the woodwork!
I had really been hoping to list more of my paper packs today, but I don't think that's going to be happening. Whatever.
The countdown is on for my vacation! I am super excited about going down to Fayetteville! My father is being super awesome and is donating $100 towards my spending fund. People think that I don't appreciate my parents, but I do. I may not say it every day, but I thank God at night for them. Most people my age would not be able to do what I'm doing.
Anyway, that's enough of my mini-ramble for now. Oh...like that pic over there? >>> That's my college team that I coach. Give you 10 points if you can figure out which one is me in that photo! LoL

Yikes!
Yes I know I didn't post yesterday. It was floating around in the back of my mind all day, but I wound up getting some orders on etsy, so I decided to work on that instead of get on here. I promise I'll make up for it today though! I'm still hoping that I can make the money I need to pay my loan by noon today! *Fingers crossed*

Penguin Lust

I'm really trying to be good and blog every day. So I thought, well, maybe I should try blogging 1000 words about anything, or nothing at all. So today's post is going to be about my love of penguins.
Thanks to the fantastic crafters and artisans of etsy, I am able to feed my penguin addiction.
I found this cute little guy courtesy of iipglass.etsy.com He is so darn cute, he doesn't look real!
I think if I had the funds, I'd buy a whole bunch of the penguin photos and prints that are available on etsy and make a giant collage out of them and stick it up on my wall somewhere.

I found this cute little needle felted fellow courtesy of feltmeupdesigns.etsy.com
Etsy is home to some super-talented needle felters who do absolutely amazing work. Some can even needle felt your pets!
I would have a collection of these little guys sitting on my dresser if I could!
Here's another cute little penguin, painted on a large standing rock. The fact that anyone can paint any sort of animal on rock is totally amazing to me. And this Emperor Penguin is definitely no slouch! Beautiful coloring, with the paint job, and the way the eye is painted on there makes the penguin appear to be a little shy. Props to Wyllow.etsy.com for some fantastic rock painting! And so folks, although I know I'm 700+ words away from my 1,000 word goal, my brain can not process much more writing. I guess that means I will have to do my posting during the afternoon, when I am definitely awake! words for the day. Off to chop up more paper to list on my etsy shop. Have a good one all!

I Heart Etsy!

So I wanted to share with everyone the coolest custom piece I just had made on etsy thanks to SeekTheNoblest.etsy.com She was kind enough to put in a bid on my Alchemy request, and her idea was so much fun, I just had to go with her!
I was looking for a fun and funky hair piece/clip to take on vacation with me to NC in a couple of weeks. I never invisioned all of the bids I would get, so I spent a good deal of time going through each request. I found some shops that had some really cool hair things, so I put them in my Favorites for a later date.
I was looking for something that would show my personality, which can be rather vibrant and out there at times. I think this piece will fit me perfectly, and it matches a whole bunch of tops that are in my wardrobe!
Welcome to my Blog!
Well now...after much pondering, I have decided to make a valid attempt at blogging. My fellow crafters over at etsy.com tell me that this is a lot of fun to do, so here it goes!
I've been an avid crafter since the age of 17. After the discovery (and subsequent completion) of a box ornament kits in the hall closet, my craftiness snowballed to epic proportions. The result? I now create Swarovski jewelry, premade scrapbooks and scrapbook layouts, sell paper crafting supplies, make tags, create cards, and do a whole slew of other things.
The downside is that because of all of these craft projects, I have what I call 'crafters A.D.D.' My desk is covered in projects in various stages of completion, and I have supplies all over the place. Even with the rolling carts, stackable drawers, and other storage solutions, my supplies are running amok in my office!
So that is what made me open up a shop on etsy called Scraptastic Supplies. It's a place for me to sell all of my paper crafting supplies, as well as other odds-n-ends that I find while doing a supply clean-out.
Here's my Etsy mini, so that you can see a sampling of some of the items I sell:
I really enjoy what I do, and I am always looking to meet others that enjoy crafting as much as I do!
